Every year we review the composition of the Board of Directors and look to fill open positions. We seek those with diverse experiences/expertise and are committed to the Center’s mission. We are particularly interested in broadening the diversity of the board’s membership including, but not limited to racial, gender, religious, and socioeconomic representation.
You may nominate yourself or another qualified individual by using the form below.
Nominations are reviewed in March/April.
Selected parties are notified in May.

Responsibilities
To carry out these responsibilities, the Board meets monthly, with a hiatus in June and July. In addition to attendance at Board meetings, you will be asked to participate on committees.
The Board is comprised of at least six seats elected prior to the Annual General Meeting, typically held in mid-October. Terms are for 3 years and are staggered so that no more than half of the Directors are being replaced or re-elected in any given year. Directors may serve no more than two consecutive terms.
There are several ways parents can get involved in addition to the Board, such as the Parent-Teacher Advisory Committee (PTAC), Fundraising, or Community Engagement Events. Please contact the board if you would like to learn more – celcboard@gmail.com.
