Jo recently joined the CELC team in January of 2017. She has BA in Psychology with a concentration in Elementary Education from Utica College and an MA in Literacy Education from SUNY Cortland. Jo has 10 years of experience guiding and leading teachers in the field of Early Childhood education.
Brittany joined the CELC in May of 2009 as an Assistant Teacher in the Den. She became the Executive Assistant in May of 2017. Brittany received her Child Devleopment Associate Credential with a concentration in Infants & Toddlers.
Ally joined the CELC in 2017 as part of our School Age Program. She enjoys creating fun and exciting programs for our school age children.
Ms. Sue joined the CELC in September of 1988. Sue has an AAS in Human Services with a concentration in Child Care from Mohawk Valley Community College. Sue has worked with children of all ages and has a natural ability to connect with each child in her care. Sue is a mentor teacher with a passion for child development and teaching. She is one of our most seasoned and dedicated teachers.
Ms. Liz joined the CELC in October of 2014. Liz has over 16 years of experience working with toddlers. She is knowledgeable in the importance of classroom design and has a thorough understanding of child development and classroom management. Liz has the natural ability to get on each child's level, getting to know them as individuals and establishing a positive and warm relationship. Ms. Liz is currently working towards her Child Development Associate Credential with a concentration in Infants and Toddlers.
Ms. Heather joined the CELC in August of 2018. She has been a wonderful addition to our team.
Ms. Sue has years of experience in the field of early childhood education, both as a lead preschool teacher and assistant direct. She has her child development associate credential with a concentration in preschool. We welcomed Sue to the CELC team in June 2019.
Ms. Mary joined the CELC in August of 2018.
Ms. Diane joined the CELC in September of 2009. Diane has over 29 years of experience working with children. She loves working with the children in her classroom. She has the natural ability to have meaningful and engaging conversations with children. She enjoys watching the children grow and gain the knowledge and the skills needed for Kindergarten.
Ms. Vickie joined the CELC in July of 2011. She has an AA from Mohawk Valley Community College. Vickie has been teaching children in the field of early childhood for 25 years. Ms. Vickie enjoys seeing the growth and progress of the children in her classroom over the year. One of her true joys is receiving and giving lots of hugs and kisses.
