Week 1 BRANCHING OUT June 29-July 2

We will be meeting new friends, while learning about how important trees are in the ecosystem, and how to identify them.

Week 2 EARTH APPRECIATED July 6-July 10

Introducing ways to recycle after lunch time, how to properly dispose of waste, what to compost, and an ultimate park clean up!

Field Trip Friday: Farmer's Museum in Cooperstown.

Week 3 SHELTER BUILDING July 13-July 17

When it rains, it pours! We will be learning how to build a shelter in a time of need while out in the wilderness with limited supplies.

Week 4 NATURAL PIGMENTS July 20-July 24

Pack a white t-shirt, a headband, or even a pair of socks because we are tie-dying with fruits, vegetables, and other natural resources.

The sun is very powerful; we will be learning all the ways we can utilize the sun in everyday life, along with solar energy.

Week 6 Tracks & Trails August 3-August 7

What animals live in the woods surrounding us? This week we will be finding and identifying different animal tracks, discussing the native animals who live in our area, and ways to be conscious of animal habitats.

Week 7 WILD SURVIVAL August 10-August 14

Let's talk about safety, rules, and hacks that you can use while camping or exploring in the wild such as: fire building and safety, how to pitch a tent, what foods cook best over an open fire and more!

Week 8 TAKE YOUR PICK August 17-August 21

What berries are we allowed to eat in the wild? Not many near us, but we are going on a trip to pick berries that we are familiar with!

Week 9 EPIC ADVENTURE August 24-August 28

For our final week, we will be playing epic games, going on a scavenger hunt, and hosting a Potluck lunch for all families to attend!
